Community Ministries

Sparks

Children's Ministry

Sparks is our children’s ministry for ages 2–11, providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. The Sparks team serves by teaching God’s Word in age-appropriate ways, nurturing each child, and helping them build strong foundations in Christ while parents attend the main service.

Youth Ministry

Ignite is our youth ministry for young people aged 11–18, creating a space where they can belong, grow, and explore their faith. The Ignite team serves by discipling, mentoring, and teaching young people God’s Word in a relevant and age-appropriate way, helping them navigate life and faith with confidence.

Young Adults

Empowering ages 18–30 to grow in faith, purpose, and identity.

Women's Ministry

A community for women to connect, grow, and strengthen their walk with God.

Men's Ministry

A brotherhood for spiritual growth, mentorship, and encouragement.

Singles' Ministry

Young at Heart
(Senior Citizens)

Worship Team

Worship Team

The Worship Team is made up of singers and instrumentalists who use their gifts to lead the congregation in God-focused worship. Members serve with humility, excellence, and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Audition and a period of probation are required to join this team.

Evangelism Team

The Evangelism Team reaches beyond the walls of the church to share the gospel of Jesus Christ within the local community. They serve through outreach initiatives, conversations, and acts of compassion that point people to Christ.

Prayer & Response Team

The Prayer & Response Team is committed to covering The Peniel Centre in prayer. They pray regularly for the church, its leadership, and services, and are available during services to pray with individuals who desire support, encouragement, or ministry.

Peniel Care

Peniel Care exists to extend love, fellowship, and practical support to vulnerable individuals both within the church and the wider community. The team serves people in need, including those in care homes and assisted living, reflecting Christ’s compassion through presence and care.

Service Coordinator

The Service Coordinator oversees the flow of the entire service, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to the planned order. This role acts as the central point of communication, coordinating transitions, timings, and collaboration between teams throughout the service.
